Say, "O people, I am sent only to give you clear warning." 49 And [know that] those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall be granted forgiveness of sins and a most excellent sustenance; 50 whereas those who strive against Our messages, seeking to defeat their purpose - they are destined for the blazing fire. 51 Whenever We sent any messenger or prophet before you, and he recited anything [of Our revelation], Satan tampered with it. But God abrogates Satan's interjections and then He firmly reaffirms His revelations. God is all knowing and all wise. 52 That He may make the suggestions thrown in by Satan, but a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and who are hardened of heart: verily the wrong-doers are in a schism far (from the Truth): 53 At the same time those who have been given knowledge may know that this is the truth from your Lord, and come to believe in it, and their hearts become submissive to Him. Verily God guides those who believe, to the even path. 54 But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day. 55 The dominion on that Day will be Allah's; He shall judge between them; then those who believed and worked righteous works shall be in the Gardens of Delight. 56 whereas for those who were bent on denying the truth and gave the lie to Our messages, there shall be shameful suffering in store. 57
