He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 And make my mission easy. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 that they may understand my words. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 We had already shown you favor 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds, 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing. 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth every sort of plant with it, 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
