۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 But they, that Day, are in surrender. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 And verily, on that Day they all will share in their common suffering. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did. 39 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 there is neither sickness in it, nor intoxication. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then some of them will turn to others, and will ask each other. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 Who said: art thou of those who confess to the doctrine of Resurrection: 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Verily, it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire, 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of it they will have a brew of boiling water. 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
