(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped! 42 Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And so, await in patience thy Sustainer's judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer's limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up, 48 And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! 49
God the Almighty always says the truth.
