See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
