The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
