The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
