The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
