3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
