And when thy Lord called to Moses, 'Go to the people of the evildoers, 10 the people of Pharaoh, will they not fear God? 11 He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me 12 and my chest will become constricted and my tongue will not be loosed (in my speech), therefore, send to Aaron. 13 Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me." 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 He (Pharaoh) said (to Moses): 'Did We not bring you up when you were a child? And have you not spent years of your life amongst us? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses replied: "I committed that act erringly. 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Said Pharaoh: "And what [and who] is that 'Sustainer of all the worlds'?" 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 Moses continued, "He is the Lord of the East and West and all that is between them, if only you would think". 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 Pharaoh said, "Show it then, if you are telling the truth!" 31 So Moses threw down his staff and suddenly it appeared as a serpent, plainly visible. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
