Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 on a Straight Way, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
