Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 There is a party of My servants who said, "Our Lord, we believe; therefore forgive us, and have mercy on us, for Thou art the best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
