And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
