In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 created man from a clot of congealed blood. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 who has taught [man] the use of the pen 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 because he thinks himself self-sufficient: 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen the one who prohibits 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way, 11 Or enjoins righteousness? 12 Did you consider: what if he gives the lie (to the Truth) and turns away (from it)? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 his lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 We too would summon the braves of the army. 18 (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
