Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
