۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever favor is (bestowed) on you it is from Allah; then when evil afflicts you, to Him do you cry for aid. 53 Yet when He has delivered you from affliction, some of you ascribe companions to your Lord 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 They set aside a share of that which We have provided them for what they did not know. By Allah, you shall be questioned about your forgeries! 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 And when a daughter is announced to one of them his face becomes black and he is full of wrath. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
