Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand me. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify 33 And remember You much. 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 yet speak gently to him, that haply he may be mindful, or perchance fear.' 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So, go to him, and say: 'Behold, both of us are the Messengers of your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not chastise them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord; and peace shall be for him who follows the true guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 Said Firaun, “What is the state of the former generations?” 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
