It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Ask them: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, the Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: 'How, then, can you be so deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
