The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
