Al-Teen

The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 By Mount Sinai, 2 and by this inviolable city, Mecca. 3 Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould), 4 and We shall make him the lowest of low 5 Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). 6 So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest Judge upon all judges? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
