۞ (And it is said unto the angels): Assemble those who did wrong, together with their wives and what they used to worship 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And stop them, for they shall be questioned: 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 We had no authority over you, in fact, you were a rebellious people. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 And said: Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet? 36 Nay, but he brought the Truth, and he confirmed those sent (before him). 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 On couches facing one another; 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 It is for the like of this that all should strive. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then surely their return is towards hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
