(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
