And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
