Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
