And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
