Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
