And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 It shall come unto them on a sudden, and they shall not perceive. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Therefore observe, that if We give them some comforts for some years, 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 It was not the satans who brought it down: 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
