The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
