Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
