A multitude of those of old 39 and many from the later generations. 40 The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 41 They will be in the midst of scorching wind and boiling water, 42 And a shade of black smoke, 43 Neither cool nor pleasant. 44 and before that they lived at ease, 45 and would persist in heinous sinning, 46 And they used to say: What! when we die and have become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised? 47 And so will our fathers?" 48 Tell them, (O Prophet): “The earlier ones and the later ones 49 "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known. 50 Then you, the erring and the deniers, 51 you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit, 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 And thereon ye will drink of boiling water, 54 lapping it down like thirsty camels.' 55 That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense! 56 It is We Who have created you: why will ye not witness the Truth? 57 Have you thought about [the semen] that you discharge -- 58 Is it ye who create it, or are We the Creators? 59 We have decreed among you Death; We shall not be outstripped; 60 Had We so wished, nothing could have hindered Us from replacing you by others like yourselves, or transforming you into beings you know nothing about. 61 And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises? 62 Have you considered the seeds you till? 63 Do you make it grow or is it We who make it grow? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 (Saying), "We are indeed left with debts (for nothing): 66 Rather, we have been prevented' 67 Tell Me! The water that you drink. 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 If We so pleased, We certainly could make it salty. Why, then, are you not grateful? 70 Consider the fire that you strike (and get by friction). 71 Is it you that originated its tree, or are We the Originator? 72 We, even We, appointed it a memorial and a comfort for the dwellers in the wilderness. 73 Therefor (O Muhammad), praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 74

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
