In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
