VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening 25 and in the night prostrate to Him; and exalt Him for a long night. 26 As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 Surely this is a Reminder; so he who will, takes unto his Lord a way. 29 (The virtuous mentioned in this chapter) want only what God wants. God is All-knowing and All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty. 31
