Kingship (Al-Mulk)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Mountain (Al-Toor) before Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He in whose Hand is the Kingdom, He is powerful over all things, 1 The One Who created death and life to test you who among you has the better deeds; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Oft Forgiving. 2 He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? 3 Then look again and again. Your gaze will come back to you confused and exhausted. 4 And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord there awaits the punishment of Gehenna (Hell) an evil arrival! 6 When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath even as it blazes forth, 7 as though it will burst with rage. Every time a multitude is cast into it, its keepers will ask them: “Did no warner come to you?” 8 They shall say: Yea! indeed there came to us a warner, but we rejected (him) and said: Allah has not revealed anything, you are only in a great error. 9 And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." 10 So they shall confess their sin. Far away they be, the fellows of the Blaze! 11 Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward. 12 Whether you speak in secret or aloud, He knows what is in every heart. 13 Shall He who has created (all things) not know? He is the Subtle, the Aware. 14

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
