Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble scribes, 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
