The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Blissful are the believers 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 and who turn away from all that is frivolous, 3 Who strive for betterment; 4 And who guard their private organs. 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 Those who seek beyond that are transgressors. 7 And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 these are the heirs 10 Who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein. 11 Indeed We created man from a chosen soil. 12 Thereafter We made him of a sperm in a receptacle safe. 13 The living germ, then, was turned into a shapeless lump of flesh from which bones were formed. The bones, then, were covered with flesh. At this stage, We caused it to become another creature. All blessings belong to God, the best Creator. 14 After that you shall surely die, 15 Then surely on the day of resurrection you shall be raised. 16 And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 We have established for you gardens of palm trees and vineyards with this water with many fruits for you to consume. 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 In the cattle, too, is a lesson for you. We let you drink of that which is in their bellies, and there are many benefits in them for you, and you eat of them, 21 And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride. 22
