Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
