BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
