Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
