۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
