The people of Lot denied the messengers 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 "Verily! I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 162 so fear you God, and obey you me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Go ye in, of all creatures, unto the males? 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 'My Lord, save me and my people from that they are doing' 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 by pouring upon them a terrible shower of rain. How evil was the rain for those who had been warned! 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 175
