It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 'When we are dead and become dust and bones shall we be resurrected? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
