Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 And you are lost in play! 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.
