▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
