Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
