And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 About their deeds. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
