It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 who has knowledge of the Unseen and the Visible; high exalted be He, above that they associate! 92
