The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
