Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
