The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Successful indeed are the believers. 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 who observe Zakah; 4 And who guard their private organs. 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive 8 and those who attend to their prayers; 9 These are they who are the heirs, 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 which was then turned into a living germ and placed in safe depository. 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 Then after that you will most surely die. 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have made, above you, seven tracts; and We are never unmindful of (our) Creation. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 With it, We produced for you gardens of palms and vines, yielding abundant fruit for you to eat. 19 And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters. 20 And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are borne. 22
