It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken to Himself any son, there is no other god with Him. Were this otherwise each god would have taken that which he created, and some of them would have risen above others; Exalted is Allah beyond that they describe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
